5 weeks old!

Okay, mommy's back : ) I'm realizing that what started as a weekly "watch how big my belly gets" blog turned into something that we can never stop... could you imagine the uproar? Mataya has many fans, so for the good of her social life, mommy and daddy must keep blogging! That's okay though, because sharing her cute photos is so much fun!

This is hilarious! When Mataya sleeps good, she really sleeps good! I can't picture a child more passed out than she is here during this nap on the couch. Good girl! And ironically, as I write this, she is boycotting her nap time right now with a fit of fussing : (

This is Daddy's first time feeding Mataya with a bottle. He really enjoys it, Mataya loves it, and I'm happy to get a little break - so everybody wins!

Mataya told me that she wanted to dress up in a pretty girly outfit to celebrate Daddy's birthday on the 28th! Her friends Ella and Andrew got her this super cute dress : ) By the funny look on her face, she needed some time to get comfortable with the whole concept! How cute! 

Daddy loved spending his birthday with his pretty little girl! We thought that they'd share a birth month, but Mataya had different plans when she decided to come 2 weeks early! But what a blessing that was... I couldn't have imagined having to wait that much longer to meet this little cutie!
