Wow! We can't believe it's been a month already! Mataya is doing so well. She is such a happy and well behaved baby! She definitely has her grumpy moments, but those are usually gas related. ; ) She's gotten much better with the diaper changes and baths, the two things she used to hate most. Mataya actually seems to love baths now, which is great because we love how long she sleeps after a bath. She is eating and sleeping really well for the most part, and definitely doing the third main baby task really well, if you know what I mean. Just this morning she surprised us by involving several more surfaces than just her diaper to contain the activity, including but not limited to her diaper cover, her onesie, her boppy pillow, mommy's shirt, her blanket, and the side of her leg... Sorry, too much information? Anyway, here are some pictures from the last few days. She's definitely getting cuter and cuter, if that's even possible. ; )

Oh, this is her first time wearing actual pants. Jen thinks they make her look russian or something. Pretty adorable stuff.
Here she is snuggling up with daddy in the morning, hiding from mommy who is probably wanting to swaddle her. Also, notice the bib. She's started wearing bibs pretty much all day long. I'm not 100% sure why but she looks pretty cute so I don't ask questions.

A thoughtful moment on her boppy pillow... plus she is wearing one of her new girly shirts. Right now a lot of her stuff is green and yellow since we had to plan for either scenario, but her ratio of pink stuff is steadily growing. My guess is that 6 months from now, 95% of her clothing will include pink.
Our friends and family have just been such an extraordinary blessing to us this past month. Over the past few weeks, we've had friends stop by every couple days to bring us lunch or dinner and visit Mataya, some of whom even drove 100 miles round trip AND brought us delicious food... wow. We feel so so so loved. It literally takes our breath away.

Oh my GOSH! I can't take it... she's PERFECT! I can't wait till Sept 5!! (I'm bringing a meal :) Love you guys!!!
Jen thinks that Mataya looks Russian in her pants? That is just hilarious! So I looked up some pics of Russian pants and I've decided that they look much better on Mataya.
But I can't wait to see her in some of the pink outfits that you mentioned. She is so beautiful. Please give her a loving hug and kiss from me. I miss all of you so much.
