It's 2009! The year our lives changed so drastically is already over. It's true, they really do grow so fast! Mataya is doing great as always! She is now fascinated at a new sound she discovered that she can make. It sounds like a baby pterodactyl squeal. So cute (and loud)! It usually happens when she's really happy or bored or tired - so anytime really. We think that she's discovered how the mirror works too. But the novelty hasn't worn off, she still loves smiling at her cute little self! Mataya also knows her name and will turn if you call her - well, not always though! And she now reaches her arms out to people, toys, or things that she wants to go to. She's just so adorable! We're very very blessed!

Here's a great polka dot themed tummy time session! Notice the socks coming off - of course!

Isn't this just a super adorable shot? It belongs in a baby catalog. Well, not a catalog that you shop for babies in though. That's just strange! hehehe 

Mataya's modeling a cute new outfit from Grandma Gallo. The camera sure loves her! I think she loves the camera too!

Mataya, what are you up to? - "Oh not much, just lounging around. It's great having people attend to my every need!"

So Mataya decided to LITERALLY work out in her gym! Here she is doing pull ups with her friends - so strong! I'm guessing this isn't manufacturer recommended hehehe.

These are shots Daddy took one morning after Mataya got her teeth brushed. Well, her soon to be teeth. She loves the very berry toothpaste!

She then proceeded to tell Mr. Penguin a story, a very stern story! Her face is so hilarious! hhehehe

I'd say about 65% of Mataya's day is spent playing with toys. What a life, huh? : )

Oh those cute little feet! I know one day I'll really miss her feet being that tiny!
