3 months 3 weeks old!!!

Wow. Have we really let a month go by without posting?!? Oh no! We do have a legitimate explanation for it, honestly! As you'll see in the pictures, Mataya got to visit with family from both sides over the course of the last few weeks. First, she had her Grandma Gallo and Aunt Jessie out to see her and then she had her Grandma and Grandpa Gave staying here with us, which meant even more hugs and kisses than usual! Mataya had a blast! We've gathered the 50 best photos from the past month to try to make up for the weeks that we skipped. I can't promise they'll all have captions. ; )

Oh. Did we mention that she also loves to stare at the monkey on her bouncer when she is sitting in her bumbo seat? It's like she's watching tv. So funny!

Ahh yes. Playing foot games with Mommy! I think they were trying to do the bicycle here. My girls are so adorable. ; )

Mataya's first Halloween! She's wearing a "Mummy loves me" onesie and a "Baby's first Halloween" bib to commemorate the occasion. 

We were planning on taking some shots of her in the onesie without the bib, but she pooped all over it before Daddy got home from work. Mommy and Grandma thought fast and put her in a candy corn outfit... brown pants, yellow shirt, and orange bib... yeah, it's a bit of a stretch. ; )

What a sweetheart! The smile + tongue is a prized commodity. We're always excited to be able to capture it on film hehe. 

Mataya is doing so great. We have her 4 month checkup this upcoming week so we'll find out exactly how much she weighs and how tall she is. She's sleeping really well lately... usually going from about 7pm until about 4am, then going back to sleep until 6 or 7ish. She's started to get better with naps too... still lots of 30 minute power naps but she's sprinkling in some 1.5 hour naps in there. She's getting stronger and stronger too. Her new thing is to try to do situps when she's in her bouncer... trying to tone her abs. Also, she is doing lots and lots of talking... mostly hilarious sounds that usually include bubble blowing and drool. She is sooooo much fun!!! Anyway, we promise not to let a month go by without posting again. We love you all!!
