12 weeks photo gigaload!

Mataya is 3 months old! Our only major update is that she continues to get sweeter and more adorable, which pretty much goes without saying. ; ) She is getting much more vocal these days... her little coo sounds have expanded in complexity and in volume. As I write this, her mommy is having her pretend like she is hula hooping and she is making the cutest sounds. Oops. Now she has the hiccups – equally cute. ; )

Here's some pictures of Mataya in her bouncer. She's staring at her mommy.

She LOVES her mommy. Oh, check out Mataya's sweet neck rolls. 

Our only competition for Mataya's love comes from the monkey on her bouncer. She just can't get enough of that little guy. Sometimes she'll stare at him for 10 minutes straight. The monkey is pretty cute, so I can kinda understand. Personally, I'm partial to the little tiger guy frolicking over her shoulder.

Here are a couple of pictures that prove that Mataya is not always smiles and giggles. I'm pretty sure she was resisting a nap in this photo...

...and this one. Waaaaa. Naps are so terrible. Silly Mataya.

But everything turned out ok! Here she is later, nice and happy again!

Mataya still loves doing sit ups. We practice every day. She has gotten so good at balancing herself and keeping her head up. She's still pretty wobbly, but she seems to really enjoy it.

Finishing off the day with a bottle feeding with daddy. She usually prefers to lay back on my legs and face towards me, but this particular night she wanted to mix it up. She is so precious.

Speaking of precious, here is a shot that mommy snapped when Mataya was falling asleep on her chest. Look at those sleepy eyes! I'm convinced that she fights falling asleep because she loves hanging out with us so much that she doesn't wanna miss anything.

Mataya has really grown to love her mommy hammock carrier thingy. Here she is, cashed out. Mataya, we haven't even started our walk yet!

She feels right at home on Jen's belly.

Ok, our last photoshoot for this blog posting is of me and Mataya hanging out on the couch. Mommy snapped the photos. They probably don't all need captions... ; )

I seriously give her a thousand kisses per day. I can't help myself. When she was younger, she didn't really react to it at all. Now it makes her smile! So awesome. I wonder how long she'll let me get away with kissing her cheeks all the time... I hope forever. ; ) 

Mataya has her Grandma Gallo and her Aunt Jessie coming out to see her this week! This will be the first time that Jessie gets to meet Mataya, so that is very exciting. The following week Grandma and Grandpa Gave are coming to see her! Wow! Lots of house guests! ; ) More photos coming soon. We love you all.
