23 WEEKS (almost 6 months)

I can't believe there are only 17 weeks left until we meet our cutie pie! I'm excited for the time to come, but I still want to enjoy the pregnancy because I know in just a short amount of time, it will seem to have gone by so quick. It seems like there are so many things to do, but if we just focus on one thing at a time, we'll get there. Last week we've been clearing out the baby's room; getting rid of all the moving boxes, trying to give away furniture, and just finding a real place for all the junk that seems to have accumulated. We're not done yet, but at least it's in progress. And this week we'll be getting the baby furniture from our wonderful friends Nathan & Chyler who are giving us theirs because their little girl is using big furniture now! Ellerey had a very exciting week because he felt the baby move for the first time! He's been trying to catch it for the last couple of weeks, but Baby G must've had fun playing hide and seek with him!

Your baby is continuing to gain weight, but the next several weeks will be when he/she really begins to fill out. Lanugo, or the fine hair that covers your baby’s body, may darken at this point allowing it to be seen on an ultrasound. Your baby is also beginning to look more like it will at birth.
